Our founder, the spirit behind Giveety... always with more innovative ideas than minutes in a day!
It's presentation time!
Giveety was born from a bold ambition: reinventing civic engagement in the digital era. Our founder, Caroline Kant, drawing on her experience in social entrepreneurship and her deep concern for digital challenges, saw technology not as a mere convenience, nor as progress reserved for an elite, but as a powerful lever capable of redefining how we contribute to society.
What if digital technology became a springboard for volunteering, opening the door to a new, more accessible model of engagement?
With this vision in mind, the idea of Giveety was born, driven by a deep conviction: every gesture, every hour devoted to others and to society can change the world. And technology can be the catalyst for this transformation.
In November 2019, during a collaboration between HEC Lausanne and the Digital Circle, Caroline challenged students with one question: "How can we enhance volunteering through digital technology?" One year later, what started as a simple university project officially became a non-profit association: the tech-id association.
Today, the tech-id association continues to drive the Giveety project, bringing together a dedicated team united by a shared ambition: proving that digital innovation can truly help build a more supportive and sustainable future.
We believe that every act of generosity deserves recognition and appreciation. We work to make the positive impact of volunteer contributions visible by giving them the recognition they deserve.
With Giveety, we bring together a community of individuals and organizations committed to the common good. At every stage of our development, we ensure we integrate field realities and day-to-day operational constraints. This is how we build a contribution ecosystem aligned with social and solidarity economy values.
We provide tools, resources, and personalized support to organizations to simplify administrative tasks related to managing volunteer activities. By offering tailored solutions, we allow associations to focus on the core of their mission.
We use digital technology and collective intelligence to create new ways to encourage and value volunteer engagement. Our innovation approach promotes technology that is more ethical, inclusive, and human-centered, placing solidarity and respect at the heart of every solution we develop.
At a time when time is an increasingly precious resource, organizations face new challenges in retaining volunteers. With Giveety, we aim to revitalize volunteer engagement by offering an innovative and attractive tool for younger generations, sustaining social commitment for years to come.
